The Micro Spectrophotometer is a scientific instrument that can decompose complex light into spectral lines. Its basic principle is based on the interaction between light and matter. Absorption occurs when photons collide with molecules of matter in solution. The absorbance of light is selective, and the measure of absorbance, the magnitude of the amount of a substance.
Micro Spectrophotometer also needs careful maintenance, the following is what we should pay attention to when using it:
1. Preheat is required when opening. Do not light when not in use.
2, do not remove the monochromator. The absorption tank should be cleaned immediately after use. Wipe off moisture with lens paper or soft cotton cloth, taking care not to scratch. During measurement, please be careful not to splash the solution into the sample chamber. Do not leave the absorption tank containing the solution in the sample chamber for too long.
3. For photoelectric equipment, please avoid glare, moisture and dust. Storage and insulation of the detector are beneficial for the life of the instrument.
4, when replacing the light source lamp of spectrophotometer, do not touch the bulb directly by hand to avoid oil sticking. If the oil gets stuck, wipe it off with anhydrous ethanol.
Micro Spectrophotometer is widely used in qualitative analysis to test the purity of test substances, identify unknown substances, evaluate functional groups in molecular structure and distinguish isomers. Quantitative analysis includes single component analysis, multi component analysis, organic element analysis, inorganic element analysis and so on.
